Sajid Khan Batoor: My journey began in a very humble way. I started off working in various industries — from a law firm to courier and telecom, then domestic logistics and eventually the bus industry. It has been a struggle-filled, impactful path — never easy, but full of learning and growth.

Sajid Khan Batoor: The major challenges include the rising vehicle and human resource costs. These are persistent hurdles for logistics companies across Pakistan.

Sajid Khan Batoor: Leadership is not about titles. My day is filled with meetings, conference calls, and connecting with teams. I believe in leading by example, being among people, and ensuring that communication stays open and authentic.

Q : Global companies like Amazon and Alibaba have become logistics giants. How can Pakistan’s logistics sector evolve similarly?
Sajid Khan Batoor: Globally, the logistics marketplace has matured significantly. In Pakistan, however, the industry faces challenges such as price wars, rising fuel costs, and currency fluctuations. We must focus on efficiency, technological adoption, and sustainable practices to stay competitive.

Sajid Khan Batoor: Entrepreneurship requires patience and discipline. Work for at least five years in any organization first. Learn the systems, understand teamwork, and develop interpersonal and technological skills. Only then can you lead successfully.
